End Day Charades
Behind a thin veil
of end game charades
You have only to adjust
your eyes to see
Politicians in parades
Compulsive liars on TV
Run aground
Run aground
Capsized now vermin
scurry away
“...we are all members of the same race.”
To me, all humans are obviously equal. There is only one race on this planet, the human race. Your race, mine, every single last person’s. Good or bad, regardless of any of the various categories etc. People are not all the same. But we are the same, in that we are all members of the same race.
Also, while that may sound like some kind of namby pamby love everybody type of thing, it actually is not. It is a simple fact. We are all members of the human race.
“Who were we fighting with, ourselves?”
When we blow up this planet, I’m sorry, when they blow up this planet, other civilizations will surely wonder how this could of happened, when there is only one race on the planet. How could a civilization that is able to make such weapons, be so primitive as to use them against each other, destroying the very planet they live on? Who were we fighting with, ourselves?
Of course, that is a fanciful stretch in of itself, it seems they have more than enough nukes to blow this planet so far out of existence there will not even be a molecule left for anyone else to wonder about. There may not even be anybody to wonder about it at all, ever. Yep. All our hard work. Surely we deserve better.
“... fuel used to power nukes expires after 12 years.”
We stare down the chasm of a nuclear cataclysm, in spite of the fact that the fuel used to power nukes expires after 12 years. All these years they have been refueling these damn things. Making it seem like we are on this road now and there is no choice but to continue. Will they keep up this lie until the planet is eviscerated? The lie that there is no other choice?
That may not be the complete answer and this may not mean it is that simple. But surely things are nearly as complicated and fatalistic as they would have us to believe. What a shame that this comes to light only as a result of their ongoing murder of the Pacific Ocean. But I digress, as they say.
“...too much wealth acts as a kind of slow moving rust in the brain.”
They want us to believe there is no other choice so that we do not stand between them and their fortunes. It would seem that too much wealth acts as a kind of slow moving rust in the brain. The brain still works, for the most part. It is just certain electrical synapses that get rusted over with time. Ones that affect priorities, judgement, and ambition. Ambition grows into obsession, and then mutates into a form of greed that is a brain disease. I am not saying this is true. But I got tired of trying to figure out how it is that they can do some of the things they do. To me this explanation seems as probable as lizards etc. It frees me up to not try to figure out something I will never be able to. It is just a theory. In other words, I made it up.
“He just assumes it all to be a lie…”
Luckily, it is possible to spot propaganda and rhetoric and once you can, it is fairly obvious. If you don’t wanna have to bother with that, you can just do what my friend does. He just assumes it all to be a lie, and assumes the opposite is true, or at least more likely to be true. Might be overboard, but probably not as overboard as we think. Whatever we know, there is tons of stuff we do not know.
“…let it onto the highway with the rest of our thoughts and beliefs”
Often they simply bombard us with whatever the thing is they want us to think of as a fact. The whole campaign against so called “disinformation” is a pretty good example of this. Make it such a part of the environment that we are choking on it, in hopes that we have no choice but to accept it, and finally let it onto the highway with the rest of our thoughts and beliefs. We often do not even see this car get on the road. There is lots of traffic these days after all, and we are busy driving. Who has time to pay attention to the fender benders, we have our own car to drive, right? Watch out for that semi, loaded to the gills with food from Fukushima, as they go about their full throttle “repairing of reputation impact. “
“I got my license straight out of a box of Cracker Jacks.”
Never mind whole car loads of families it will run right off the road, straight into a ditch. Never mind that the ditch is full of precious gas, or that it soon exploded with the children and their mom in it. The entire event framed as what happens when you let “certain people” have driver’s licenses. For instance, I know I got my license straight out of a box of Cracker Jacks.
“ …we can keep hope from disappearing completely.”
As hope runs out, things will only get worse. And as things get worse, hope runs out. When hope runs out, it doesn’t just run out for those who are in desperate horrible situations, it runs out for all of us. Even if you do not immediately realize it. Of course we are not gonna realize it as fast as someone who has already had all hope jerked from beneath them like a rug.
If we can help someone, so that they too can help someone, and so on and so on, we can keep hope from disappearing completely. So that it might actually still be there should you need it. Look around. Chances are, sooner or later, you are gonna need it. My guess would be sooner.
“…it ain’t rocket science.”
And so it would seem that the problems of the world are complicated, yet in a way so simple. I was gonna say it ain’t rocket science, but the part about the rockets is rocket science. But like kindergarten rocket science or something.
“I don’t believe in censorship.”
Thank you for reading and I cannot wait to get more email. If you disagree, I look forward to telling you why I think you are wrong, and doing so in a way that is not insulting or degrading. I also look forward to finding out why I am wrong, however you should choose to say that. I don’t believe in censorship. I prefer to let things stand for all the world to see, rather than to delete them.
All comments and suggestions positive and negative are appreciated always. Please share this, but if the link isn’t handy “Bitch n Complain” is easy to remember and comes right up with a simple internet search.
I really do hope you have a great day and week ahead.
Bye for now.
